About Us One Hundred Worlds is a Reggio Emilia inspired preschool that is dedicated to the education of young children and their families in Airdrie, Alberta. Our Environment Each area of our classroom has been thoughtfully designed to inspire creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning. Have you heard of the term visual noise? The presence of excessive and distracting visual clutter such as excessive decoration's, busy patterns, bright color's, crowded visuals, and disorganized learning recourses can be overwhelming for children. Visual noise can make it hard to focus and process information. At One Hundred Worlds we are intentional about keeping our space beautifully organized to avoid overstimulating children visually, creating an environment that cultivates learning, concentration, and a sense of calm. As a Reggio Emilia inspired preschool we believe the environment is a third teacher. Our classroom is designed to be functional and cohesive in a way that provokes wonder and encourages investigation.
